Lip piercing - Helpful Information

Lip piercing is another very popular type of piercing in Western Europe countries. Lip piercing is considered to be much more extraordinary in comparison with more common ear piercing and nose piercing as well as more complicated and even dangerous to some extend. 3) Angelbites. It become clear from the name of this upper piercing that this is nothing else but double piercing which presupposes making two punctures near the mouth but on two opposite sides.

Basic lower piercing:

1) Lip ring. The most common piercing which is done right under the lower lip and also presupposes wearing a ring.
2) Spiderbites. Three punctures around the mouth, two on the opposite sides and one in the middle between these two.

3) Venombites. Two punctures are made on the left/right side of the lower lip next to each other.



Lip piercing care and healing

During four hours after lip piercing procedure, you are not to eat, smoke and drink alcohol. You must wear only proper jewelry in order not to cause damage to your gums and teeth. In case flat disk which is situated on inner side of the lip causes discomfort or even cut into the lip, you must change your jewelry to longer one. Keep to a diet which excludes hot, salt, spicy food. Lip piercing is extremely prone to various infections, that’s why it’s strictly recommended to avoid smoking, drinking alcohol and to forbear from kisses and oral sex during the hole healing period which can last from one week to a month or even more.
